Occupational, and Hand Therapy

PAMELA JINKS, OTR/L CHT, MOT

Pamela received her Master of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 1990.  She became a Certified Hand Therapist in 1997.  Pamela has variety of experience including multiple trauma, tendon/nerve repairs crush injuries, amputations, replantations, repetitive injuries, compression neuropathies, and fractures.  She has worked with all age groups in hospital, outpatient, home health, school and community settings.  Areas of specialization include upper extremity trauma, manual techniques, nerve mobilization, and pain management.  Pamela makes every attempt to work in a pain free range in order to maximize patient compliance and outcome.  She provides information to patients on self management of symptoms through good nutrition, supplements, use of heat/cold, relaxation techniques, self massage, ergonomics, etc.  She believes patient education is vital in order to empower each patient to take an active role in their rehabilitation.

Mandy Paxton BOM

Mandy has served as business office manager for Hands On Therapy since 2001.  She oversees all office procedures including verifying insurance benefits for those with private insurance, obtaining authorization for workman’s compensation clients, filing all insurance claims, and collecting co-pays.  Questions regarding insurance, co-pays, etc. may be directed to Mandy.
