I hate going to the doctor's office, but the folks at Hands On Therapy are a pleasure to spend your recovery time with.  The ladies always took an interest in my life, not just my recovery…I believe I would have never recovered without their help.

Hands on Therapy

A Testimonial

I am writing this testimonial to share with others the unique and wonderful experience I have had while undergoing physical therapy at Hands on Therapy. I believe that my experience was not unusual and that everyone that passes through the doors receives the same amount of attention that was afforded to me. I believe that Hands on Therapy is unique in the fact that they do not just focus on one’s physical injury but also on the mind and soul that play such an important role in each person’s recovery.

I had many experiences at Hands on Therapy that I believe were unique. First, all my activities and exercises were supervised one and one, ensuring that it was being performed correctly and with maximum effectiveness achieved for that particular exercise. These activities can be confusing and with the close personal attention I received, I was assured that I was doing them correctly.

Second, Hands on Therapy really listened to my complaints and made every effort to listen and find ways and activities to improve my overall condition. Pam Jenks will take it many steps beyond that. She researched my condition and helped me find the information that I needed to try to live my life in as little pain as I had to. Pam even helped me coordinate with my doctors to gain as much information as I needed and helped me more effectively understand the information gleamed from the physician’s point of view.

Due to my injury, I have suffered from chronic, severe pain that has prevented me from gainfully returning to work. I was never much of a people person or a fan of close human contact, and the accident just further drove me into hiding. Pam helped me overcome my reluctance to close human contact. Just the effort she put in on this one area has dramatically improved my life and my relationships with others. Without Pam closely paying attention to my injury and the resulting mental anguish it produced, I would not have been able to make such huge gains in this one area.

Hands on Therapy treated my family like family. Pam went out of her way to make everyone in the situation comfortable, not just the patient. It is this reason that I consider her as a friend and not just a provider. Any time I have contact with her, she will always ask about my family and not just about me. If I had to undergo physical therapy again for the type of conditions she treats, I would more than gladly drive the 60 miles to see her again. It would be worth it for the overall experience and therapy I would get.

For the rest of my life, I will remember what Hands on Therapy and Pam Jenks did for my right arm and right hand and for the amazing work she did for my heart and soul. It was so easy to place my injury in her hands with total trust, because she has one of the most amazing bedside manners, great work ethics, extremely high standards for herself and her clinic, and amazing family values and morals that are second to none. I would highly recommend Hands on Therapy and Pam Jenks to every person I come in contact with that has a specific injury that she treats. The overall experience is second to none.
